Premier Beverage Services operates on a dry hire model. In plain terms: you (the host) purchase and provide the alcohol for your event, and we provide everything else — the physical bar, professional TIPS- and RAV-certified bartenders, mixers, garnishes, ice, glassware, and full setup and breakdown. This is standard practice for mobile bar companies, keeps us compliant with Colorado's rules around liquor service, and often saves you money since you're buying alcohol at retail instead of paying event markup.
We're based in Denver and licensed to operate throughout Colorado — Denver metro, the Front Range, the mountain corridor, and the Western Slope are all fair game. We don't currently offer service outside of Colorado. Planning an out-of-state event? Reach out and we'll let you know what, if anything, we can do. Travel fees may apply for events outside the Denver metro area.
Ice coordination is included in every package — we source it and keep the bar stocked throughout your event, so it's one less thing on your list. Mixers and garnishes are included too. If you'd rather source your own ice, that works — just let us know when you book.
Every package includes a professional bar setup, TIPS- and RAV-certified bartenders, mixers, garnishes, ice, and full setup and breakdown. Because we run on a dry hire model, the one thing you'll need to provide is the alcohol itself — beer, wine, and spirits, based on the menu we build together. Glassware and other premium add-ons are available if you'd like us to handle those too.
Absolutely. Every bartender on our team is TIPS and RAV certified for responsible alcohol service, and Premier Beverage Services carries full general and liquor liability insurance. A Certificate of Insurance (COI) can be provided to your venue within 5–7 business days of booking.
As a general guideline, we recommend one bartender per 75–100 guests for a straightforward beer, wine, and cocktail bar, and closer to one per 50 guests for a full craft cocktail menu or a high-volume event. We'll help you land on the right staffing when you request your quote.
We recommend booking 2–6 months in advance for weddings and large events, and at least 3–4 weeks for smaller private parties. Popular dates (holidays, summer weekends) fill up quickly.
A deposit (typically 25–50% of your total quote) secures your date. You can pay securely online via Stripe or Square, or through an emailed Wave invoice — no cash or checks required.
Deposits are non-refundable but fully transferable to a new date within 12 months, subject to availability. Full cancellation policy details are provided in your service agreement.
Most packages are built for 30+ guests, but we're happy to discuss smaller gatherings — just reach out and we'll build a custom quote.
Of course. Every package can include a complimentary mocktail menu, or you can book our dedicated Mocktail Bar service for a fully zero-proof experience that doesn't compromise on presentation or flavor.
Most setups can move indoors or under a tent with a bit of notice — let us know your backup plan when you book so we can plan around it. If your event is fully outdoors and weather becomes a safety concern, we'll work with you on rescheduling per our cancellation policy.
Definitely — we love building a signature cocktail menu around your event, your favorite spirits, or your color palette. Tell us what you have in mind when you request your quote, or we're happy to make recommendations.
Gratuity isn't automatically included in your quote and is always appreciated but never required. Many hosts choose to add an 18–20% gratuity to their final invoice, or tip bartenders directly the day of the event — whichever you prefer. 100% of tips go straight to the bartenders and staff who worked your event.
Travel is included free within 30 miles of downtown Denver. Front Range trips beyond that are billed at $2/mile round-trip, and mountain or Western Slope venues carry a flat travel fee starting at $150, confirmed in your quote based on exact distance. See our full Fees & Policies for details.
No problem — if your event extends past its contracted service window, overtime is billed at $125/hour per bartender, confirmed with you day-of before any extra time begins.
A good rule of thumb is 1 bartender per 75 guests for a standard beer/wine/cocktail bar, or 1 per 50 for a full craft cocktail menu. Your package includes the bartender count shown on our Pricing page; additional bartenders for larger guest counts are $100/hour, added to your itemized quote.
We take on select public and ticketed events like festivals, pop-ups, and fundraisers on a custom-quote basis. These often require additional permitting and staffing beyond our standard private-event packages, so reach out with your event details and we'll put together a tailored quote.
